Christina McBride serves as a missionary to the Texas-Mexico Border.

Christina gave her heart to Jesus when she was five years old. When she was 14, she surrendered her life to God and told Him that she would do anything and go anywhere He wanted. At that time, she did not know that He was calling her to missions. It wasn’t until she was a freshman in college that God spoke to her about being a missionary. She accepted His call and got her first taste of missions as an intern in Bolivia during her junior year in college.

In 2002, Christina was appointed as a missionary with World Gospel Mission. In February 2005, she went to Stockton, California, to work with inner-city children and youth. God then began to show she that He had a new ministry for her, and He gave her a peace about going to McAllen, Texas, to serve with the Texas-Mexico Border Ministries team at Taylor Community Center.

After attending the CCCU congregation in McAllen (Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana) for several years, Christina felt God leading her take the next step in her connection with the church. In June 2023, Christina became a member Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana. As a member of CCCU, she now joins the ranks for our CCCU Missionary team.
