The Stewardship Department was developed by the General Board of Trustees to serve the denomination.  William T. Bonham serves as Chief Legal Counsel and is a frequent speaker in CCCU churches on the subject of planned giving (remembering the Work of the Lord in your will or trust). 

Bill has been focused on estate planning, probate and trust in his law practice since 1988.  Bill is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Florida.   He also serves as an adjunct professor of law at Capital University Law School, where he teaches probate. 

Private consultations are available to assist individuals in the preparation of wills and trusts.  All confidential information shared with Bill remains solely in the possession of Bill and is not shared with any other denomination official. 

The Stewardship Department will conduct training seminars for church budgeting, IRS compliance issues, and personal finance.  Church audits can also be arranged.

RETIREMENT PROGRAM

The retirement program is developed for employees of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. This includes Circleville Bible College, CCCU headquarters and ministers in active ministry. The retirement plan is handled by the Fifth Third Retirement Advantage.
